“Our life-work here is a preparation for the life ETERNAL. The education begun here will not be completed in this life; it will going forward through all eternity,—-ever progressing, never completed. More and more fully will be revealed the wisdom and love of God in the plan of redemption. The Saviour, as he leads his children to the fountains of living waters, will impart rich stores of knowledge. And day by day the wonderful works of God, the evidences of His power in creating and sustaining the universe, will open before the mind in new beauty. In the light that shines from the throne, mysteries will disappear, and the soul will be filled with astonishment at the simplicity of the things that were never before comprehended. Now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face; now we know in part; but then we shall know even as also we are known.
Think what it will mean to study through the eternal ages under the personal instruction of Christ! Amidst the present conflicts and temptations, in this our day of probation, we are to form characters that will prepare us to obtain a life that measures with the life of God.
We are to have an eye single to the glory of God, and thus grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus CHrist. The more earnestly and diligently we seek for divine wisdom, the more firmly established we shall be in the truth.
By beholding Christ, by talking of Him, by beholding the loveliness of His character we become changed from character to character. Thus we see that there is a work of purification that goes on by beholding JESUS.

The little log cabin in the woods, with a little front porch overlooking Rainbow Lake, with the Collegiate Peaks to the west, never left my mind or the happy memories etched in the history of Leadville, Colorado. It’s mistress, its legends were broken, rotted and leathered with the rise and fall of the Silver Mines. Then the Climax Mine came and went with its source of molybdenum, mine tailings, and miners without a job. I was tempted to move to a little house in the town, but at over 10,000 feet high, the elevation itself, some would not take the risk for their hearts sake.
Love for God and mankind has a way of bringing Nature into His plan of wooing us into the idea of Grander Land, in His Home on High.
May you have a healthy, peaceful and wonderful THANKSGIVING DAY! And don’t forget to be THANKFUL for what all God has done for you, to take you where you need to go to learn the difference between good and evil. Every downhill ride on the toboggan took someone to pull the sled to the top of the run, that bounced over a jump, scooted across the lake and pushed the snow away on the ice. Daddy had drilled a hole in the lake to fish for rainbow trout. One year he and mom got the skido stuck in the not quite frozen lake. And the reminder of the folly when you make a mistake in the frozen tundra can cost you your life.
I began to think my parents made this cabin a place to learn how to survive, without running water, we had to melt snow, we had to carry the water from the lake, we had to warm water to take a bath, we had to use the OUT HOUSE. We had to keep the fire going with logs as the snow on the roof melted and made icicles that reached from eves to the snow piles around the windows.
Had I not been given the experience of “living” with the old iron stove, warming water, doing as I’m told, by Mom who knew full well the “work” involved in creating the GOOD OLD DAYS, I could not enjoy the experience of knowing how much HARD WORK it took, to take the family on a journey into the wilderness, even with pulling the sled daddy made to bring in the huge stock of groceries. The great effort they made to help us learn how to enjoy the rest, after doing the work and play, and sitting around the fireplace, while I played the piano, and we sang. Daddy fired up the record player and its tunes we memorized still come to mind today. She’ll be coming round the mountain when she comes, and the Holiday tunes, changed the words to new music like the Chipmunk songs, and even the crooning voice of Andy Williams with his love songs. Across the pond in other cabins friends from church gathered to this area. But Bill Clark who helped General Patton in World War II, could tell War Stories, and teach us how to march, and become Pathfinders too. The body of believers in the Old South Denver Church, became the source of Volunteers, who helped make Denver a better place for all mankind. Certainly their brand would be, we are here on earth to help and teach mankind, can make the world a better place.

I don’t think HEAVEN will be boring, but more like exploring, learning growing, but no one will even THINK of trying to STEAL the Heavenly Throne and make their own EARTH, to try and be a god. THE COST OF HUMANITY, to those born without THE GOD, who seeks to save the lost and redeem the unlovely, to become HIS SONS AND DAUGHTERS is WHY we WONDER, why HE DID IT? Why He first LOVED ME? He seemed to know our earth would be destroyed for a lack of knowledge, and yet the fruits of the tropics, compared to the fruits and foods of the prairies, seem to direct us to the TREE OF LIFE, and its precious GIFTS of ETERNAL LIFE hovering over the WATER OF LIFE.
Heaven is a grand theme. . .that can escape reality. . .but what would it be like to live without FEAR? Not having a HOLY FEAR OF GOD, means we do not respect HIS HOLY KNOWLEDGE of how to care and take care of six thousands years of humans, who have come from the Garden of Eden to this day of a pandemic and having a DAY OF THANKSGIVING, which points us to LOOK UP, because HE MUST COME TO END THE LAST DAYS, because “some” would wish to end the story, by destroying earth itself, and I wonder how the devil feels, when he will walk on earth, in ruins, while those SAVED BY GRACE, look down from heaven for a thousand YEARS to be forever REMINDED what can happen when me get greedy, proud and use others for traction as they try to push and pull themselves up to the top of hill and look down and say, “LOOK WHAT I DID!”
I hate to take my mind to the sour rather than rest with experience that makes we wish to worship at the feet of JESUS….a JEW….who died for me too.
I must ask, “Why is the World so desperate to destroy the LIFE OF CHRIST and HIS DISCIPLES? And what can GOD DO, to CONVINCE YOU, He is superior to those who even “think” they can change the laws of God, and among the last Commandment, is the one that says, “DON’T COVET.”
Exo 20:17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.
Exo 20:18 And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off.
Exo 20:19 And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die.
Exo 20:20 And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not.
Exo 20:21 And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was.
This HOLY FEAR of GOD, comes to prove us, so we show respect and dignity for the terrible consequence of disobeying the laws, He knows, that will bring “evil thoughts” that given time, would result in “actions” that would “destroy the Universe.”
Those who seek to know what is happening IN SPACE are considered the men with the highest I.Q. They like stories of wars in space. Who will win? and with what will they use to protect and defend them.
Soon, the Chapter 11 of Revelation will be DISCLOSED to the HUMANS ON EARTH, in its purest form of PROPHECY. And when the two witnesses, are taken off the earth, in a cloud, known sinners according to mankind, to be welcomed into the circle of God, we will know, we will have the EVERLASTING ASSURANCE, that TRUTH, JUSTICE and GODS WAY, can truly be understood, with a Holy Appreciation of what it took to WATCH the EXPERIENCE OF HUMANS, who strayed from HIS WORD.
It would be MOST DISTRESSING for GOD to have to make another EARTH and set LUCIFER free to try and weave into the hearts of men, the true HORRORS OF SIN again. That is why around six thousand YEARS, will provide us enough reminders, of the feelings of insecurity, hopelessness, and JOY COME, with our adventures on earth.
We will soar to the galaxies and we will tell our stories, to other sinless WORLDS, and possibly, we won’t want to talk about our failures, but about how God showed us the pain, sorrow and tears, that come with hurting the feelings of others.
I can think of at least one story in my life that has a happy ending, after 62 years of being a penpal with the kid across the creek from Grandma’s House. Ed Harlan would write me of his accomplishments once he moved to Kearny and began his study to be an Education Major and teacher. Many times I’ve looked back at my life, and “what all God has done to teach me,” and I look to the first person I sent a Bible Study to, and as I watched him grow, spiritually, and me forced to go to California and leave my favorite country, its farmland, relatives, and quiet living, we both were dating, we both were writing, but I could not be in a marriage where I was making more money than my husband.
Based on my idea the man would be the “provider.” It would be ok if we were teachers, and making the same salary, but being forced to become a Dental Hygienist, something stuck in my mind, that my profession would be better to be linked with a predental student, I had met at La Sierra College.
I don’t know how it came to be, he proposed, and like the super seller he was, I found myself “engaged” with a watch on my right hand, and I came back to the dorm, having the emblem of MY PROMISE, to marry a man, who would one day, find my family genes, did not make me into a girl that he would desire. I would not become like a “man”, in keeping up with my husbands desire to race to the top of mountains, and race back down, without taking time to smell the roses, or listen to the waterfalls, or even wait for the children to catch up.
This lack of my x, not having a FAMILY experience, or brothers and sisters, who needed us to walk a slower pace, so we could all get to the place on the trail together, was a lesson he had not learned. His speedy ascent and descent, left many behind. Later I learned the word “control freek,” men who must learn to get the whole team to cross the line in a race. And today I do not know, if he has learned how to slow down instead of running around in circles, looking for the peace of mind, he could have, when I die. . . .because THEN he can HAVE the WOMAN of HIS DREAMS, when the first wife dies. Too bad he was not taught to be a gentleman. And perhaps, the Grandma’s genes, her cooking, her laughs, her smiles, her care for all the children with little prizes at Christmas at her house, is still a reminder of Grandma Ordelheide in Denver.
I had a country Grandma and city Grandma, and each was particular about certain things. But Grandma Ordelheide had one rule, “ALL, the children’s feet belong under the table at least one time a day.”
And if we keep Grandma Ordelheides RULE, we might find “why” the children are “acting” the way they do. We get to KNOW each other, their trials, their sorrows their prayers, and in time we can reach out to others, and understand their pain and sorrows. And by experiencing grief, death, and life, we can become more empathetic, understanding, and helpful to others.
And that is WHAT THANKSGIVING MEANS TO ME, sharing our table with all those in need. And a widow across the street, is hovering in COVID DISTANCE, and she was thinking of me, my first Thanksgiving as a widow. And Margie is making a feast, and she included me. And her gesture in thoughtfulness, and our joy in gardening, makes us complete in understanding the void death brings in our hearts.
7:25 A.M. Thanksgiving Day 2020 and I am hoping it is our last day of celebrating Thanksgiving on earth, for certainly we are facing a NEW YEAR with “traits” of a SOON COMING JESUS CHRIST, and HIS ANGELS, who are EAGER FOR US TO PRAY, so they can ANSWER OUR PRAYERS and BRING AN END TO THE REIGN of LUCIFER and his demons, and BRING IN A NEW YEAR, with marvelous HOPE OF CHRIST RETURNING, and TAKING US HOME ON A CLOUDY CHARIOT OF ANGELS, to His Home in ORION, where there is plenty of room for us “beyond Orion’s gates.”
THIS IS THE HOPE I HAVE for ALL THE WORLD to EXPERIENCE THE BEST GOD HAS PLANNED FOR ALL WHO CALL UPON HIS NAME!
JESUS! LORD! MASTER! SAVIOUR! The Almighty God! The Everlasting Father, The PRINCE OF PEACE, our Heavenly Father, OUR GOD, not ‘a god’ but THE GOD who can CREATE and He must DESTROY the EVIL ONE WHO SENDS OUR MINDS AND imaginations on fire for the worst and THE BEST IS YET TO COME, to purify OUR SOULS and LET US RUN FOR THE PRIZE and the HIGH CALLING OF LOVING JESUS, the son, the man, who gave up all for HIS BRIDE, the church, for US the Sons and Daughters of GOD!
HOPE? Certainly there is HOPE as surely as their are STARS IN THE SKY. But JESUS offers more than HOPE, He assures us we have an INHERITANCE, incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, RESERVED in HEAVEN for YOU! I Peter 1:4 you!
When you grasp for straws, this day, also reach for the WORD, and LISTEN TODAY, to the call from his WORD to your EAR so you HEAR what HE has to say to you this day, of THANKSGIVING.
Play the game of letting someone Open the Bible, and let someone read just a WORD that GOD has prepared for you TODAY.

I want to you see the smile on my face, because David is expressing his experience with evil done to him by a friend. But after David would WISH GOD WOULD JUDGE HIM FIRST and WISH TO DIE rather than be unloyal to the GOD OF THE UNIVERSE, David ENDS HIS PRAYER, with a PRAISE TO THE LORD, ACCORDING TO HIS LORDS RIGHTEOUSNESS.
THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD, is something so powerful, wonderful and JUSTICE does not fail. And the free gift of HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, is why you and I have FREEDOM OF SPEECH and LIBERTY. Our freedom was purchased with the PRICE of SALVATION, that brought the death of JESUS CHRIST THE JEW, to bring you the PROMISE OF HEAVEN ON EARTH, as HE RECREATES IT, just for you.
I MUST CLOSE, with joy and praise for HIS NAME is what saves us, and drives the demons away, for the blood of the lamb is on the hands of those who crucified JESUS CHRIST, in order to achieve their mission of MISREPRESENTING HIM as the ultimate sacrifice.
Quite a good day to be THANKFUL for our GOD, who is three in one, like a family a father a mother and son.
