DANIEL AND REVELATION PROPHECY WRITTEN AUGUST 16, 1900.

“The mighty angel who instructed John was no less a personage than Jesus Christ.   Setting His right foot on the sea, and

Jonah and the big fish depicted by Michelangelo, went to Nineveh, the modern day city of Mosul. He warned some 120,000 people, who quickly repented, and turned to obedience. Perhaps because they knew and saw the remains of Sodom and Gomorrah?

His left upon the dry land, shows the part which He is acting in the closing scenes of the great controversy with Satan. [Revelation 10]  This position denotes His supreme power and authority over the whole earth.  The controversy has waxed stronger and more determined from age to age, and will continue to do so, to the concluding scenes when the masterly working of the powers of darkness shall reach their height.  Satan, united with evil men, will deceive the whole world and the churches who receive not the love of the truth.  But the mighty angel demands attention.  He cries with loud voice. He is to show the power and authority of His voice to those who have united with Satan to oppose the truth.  After these seven thunders uttered their voices, the injunction comes to John as to Daniel in regard to the little book: [Revelation] These relate to future events which will be disclosed in their order.  Daniel shall stand in his lot at the end of the days.  John sees the little book unsealed.   Then Daniel’s prophecies have their proper place in the first, second, and third angels’ messages to the be given to the world.   The unsealing of the little book was the message in relation to time.

“The books of Daniel and the Revelation are one.   One is a prophecy, [Daniel] the other a revelation; [Revelation] one a book sealed, [Daniel] the other a book opened [Revelation] John heard the mysteries which the thunders uttered, but he was commanded not to write them.  The special light given to John which was expressed in the seven thunders was a delineation of events which would transpire under the first and second angels’ messages.   It was not best for the people to know these things, for their faith must necessarily be tested.   In the order of God, most wonderful and advanced truth would be proclaimed.   The first and second angels’ messages had done their specific work.  This is represented by the angel standing with one foot on the sea, proclaiming with a most solemn oath that time should be no longer.

“This time which the angel declares with a solemn oath, is not the end of this world’s history, neither of probationary time, but of prophetic time, which should preceded the advent of our Lord.   This is, the people will not have another message upon definite  (prophetic) time.  After this period of time, reaching from 1842-1844, there can be no definite tracing of the prophetic time.   The longest reckoning reaches to the autumn of 1844.  The angel’s position with one foot on the sea, the other on the land signifies the wide extent of the proclamation of the message.   It will cross the broad waters and be proclaimed in other countries, even to all the world.   The comprehension of truth, the glad reception of the message is represented in the eating of the little book. The truth in regard to the time of the advent of our Lord was precious message to to our souls.”

These prophecies of Daniel and Revelation were opened by a farmer, William Miller (1782-1849) the Baptist preacher. He did not become a Seventh Day Adventist, but he worked on opening the WORD, to see the symbols and figures of the Bible. His work was done by hand, checking verses with verse until he understood the connection between the Old and New Testament. He used Cruden’s famous concordance to help him find other passages in the Bible that could explain it. In the War of 1812, he served as lieutenant and captain. He was a natural leader, being elected frequently to country offices such as justice of the peace and deputy sheriff. But for years Miller tried not to preach the first angel’s message. [Rev 14:6  And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Rev 14:7  Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. ]

“Fear God, and give glory to Him, for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.” This is the First Angels Message, more to the point, is God judging His people, His Church, His Bride, for the Bridegroom is coming!

First we believe we are saved by the Blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ, whose blood is untainted by sin, and his sacrifice means we are saved by faith, and our obedience is voluntary because we love Him 100%.

According to Josephus “When Daniel had told the king that the writing upon the wall signified these events, [The fall of Babylon, the false church] Baltasar was in great sorrow and affliction, as was to be expected, when the interpretation was so heavy upon him. However, he did not refuse what he had promised Daniel, although he were a fore-teller of misfortunes to him, but bestowed it all upon him;   as reasoning thus, that what he was to reward was peculiar to himself, and to fate, and did not belong to the prophet, but that is was the part of a good and just man to give when he had promised, although the events were of a melancholy nature.”

Crudens and published June 11, 1761. Today biblegateway.com and ESword.com help to find the words that are used as symbols and figures. However, Jesus changed the “tongue” a bit, when he spoke like poet, of men like grass, and “Follow me I will make you fishers of men.” And “I am the living water,” but water also points to people, on the sea of life, who might become frightened when they set sail on the sea of life, and worry if their ship and its belongings might sink, then the Bible says, “Do not make shipwreck of your faith.”  Waters, in Revelation point to big cities, with many cultures, nations and languages, such as those on sea port, where confusion becomes a temptation, and challenges the mind, with sights, sounds and desires, like those found in Babylon, and the Tower of Babel.

John10:10  “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

Hos 12:9  And I that am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt will yet make thee to dwell in tabernacles, as in the days of the solemn feast. Hos 12:10  I have also spoken by the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and used similitude’s, by the ministry of the prophets.

Is this the year end, for Jesus the Jew, to cleanse the Heavenly Temple of all sin, to place the sins on the Head of Lucifer, the scapegoat, and end the final Day of Atonement on Earth? Have we on earth, seen enough, hypocrisy, heard enough lies, and smelled enough bloodshed? Will we continue in sin against Our Lord and His Government? Or will we repent and be baptized for the remission of sin, repent and turn to obedience,  for no sin can enter heaven. God hates sin, it separates us from Him!
