I posted this answer to the question posed about ordaining women as preachers who can teach the law and prophets.
The oral tradition of the Jews, states there is a male and female above the Mercy Seat on the Ark of the Covenant. When the male and female are in agreement, the Messiah will come. In reading the plagues in Revelation 16, the Bible Commentary states, the male is a symbol of the politics, the female is the symbol of religion. The Church/State Government of God, in Heaven, brings us to agree, we will be happy with whoever sits on the Throne with Jesus, to judge. We, male or female, agree with the Law and Prophets. And in this we see the division between the male and female mind.
However, Ellen White wrote: August 3, 1903, Mrs. White further wrote regarding this sensational report:
How comes the word that I have declared that New York is to be swept away by a tidal wave? This I have never said! I have said as I looked at the great buildings going up there story after story. ‘What terrible scenes will take place when the Lord shall arise to shake terribly the earth! Then the words of Revelation 18:1-3 shall be fulfilled.’ The whole of the eighteenth chapter of Revelation is a warning of what is coming on the earth. But I have no light in particular in regard to what is coming on New York, only I know that one day the great buildings there will be thrown down by the turning and over turning of God’s power. From the light given me, I know that destruction is in the world. One word from the Lord, one touch of His mighty, power, and these massive structures will fall.” Life Sketches of Ellen White, p. 412
This quote does not stand alone, is it vindicated by Mervyn Maxwell who wrote: Mervyn Maxwell (1896-1970) likely never knew, he was inspired by the Holy Spirit when he wrote the Second Trumpet is comparable to a third world country entering Washington D.C. and setting fire to the Pentagon and White House. p. 239 GOD CARES I
Revelation 8:8,9 does translate into 9-11-2001, an event in Washington D.C. with an attempt to burn down the Pentagon and white House.
Revelation 8:8,9 quoted “And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; Rev 8:9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.” Does sound like a rock on fire, being thrown into a sea, causing a tidal wave on New York ….however when I taught the youth at church, the Bible Symbols are recommend by EGW. They all drew a picture of new York City, the waters are big cites, people, cultures, where people live in High Rise Buildings, not there in 1903, when she saw New York would become a place of High Towers, that symbolize, men trying to out do men, in building achievements. The Empire State building was not around until 1930, Ellen White had died.
Further more her duty and ours is to point us back to the Bible. And reading Revelation 18, is mind boggling! Michael the Archangel stands up in Daniel 12:1, and is the angel, we know as Jesus Christ, in Revelation 10, who is the 7th Angel to the 7th Church of Laodicea, who “completes” the picture of a church that is half baked, half cooked, not edible, and God spits it out of his mouth. So it is up to us women, to stand up and defend Ellen White, Maxwell and the Law and Prophets.
Jesus confirms us in Luke 13, last verse. Luk 13:34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!
Luk 13:35 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
It would seem to appear, we wish to silence the voice of the female who loves and serves God, as well as the man who loves and serves God? However, the command of Jesus, is that we say, “Blessed is he/she that comes in the name of the Lord.” All who call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved is repeated in Acts 2 and Romans 10. “WE” have chosen God to be Our King of King and Lord of Lords, and He has chosen us to be His people, His witnesses, his priesthood. Not just men but men and women in agreement like a family.
I am not only in support of women in office, in a teaching roll, as a preacher, but elders too should be teachers, not just puppets. Not just turning on movies, or reading old stories, but thinking and studying, the Law and Prophets.
Mat 25:10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
It will take the Holy Spirit to be poured out on ALL FLESH, for the SDA CHURCH, to see, there are some who deny the Holy Spirit, and they are called to say, “Blessed is he/she who comes in the name of the Lord.” All who call upon the lord, shall be saved. In judging, men and woman, we place a “curse” upon the voice of God, and His Holy Spirit.
The Ellen G. White quotes connected with 9-11-2001, and Michael standing up, with China, Russian and India manipulating the stock market on my web site, along with book, THE RED HORSE, WAR AGAINST THE GOVERNMENTOF GOD, by Connie Anderson/Westbow Press. I am just a woman, devoted to study, and learn. If we deny the prophetess E.G. White and Prophet, Mervyn Maxwell, we are in great trouble! We are in apostasy against God and His Disciples. The Jews killed Jesus then Stephen and sealed their fate, they had no vision to carry to the Gentiles.
This conference will see Revelation 14 and Revelation 18 as a unit. Just as Ellen White said. “They were not to be present in person at the marriage, for it take place in heaven, while they are upon the earth. The followers of Christ are to “wait for their Lord, when He will return from the wedding.” Luke 12:36
Without a vision of the Holy Spirit being poured out on all flesh, we will judge each other, and deny the Holy Spirit.
Revelation 18 give us a choice to be in the Remnant Church, with the gift of Prophecy and the Ten commandments, or to kill the prophets and saints.
Rev 18:20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.
or:
Rev 18:23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived. Rev 18:24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.
The male and female, Bride and Groom, must be in agreement for Jesus to come. Can we find ONE MAN and ONE WOMAN in agreement with the Law and Prophets, who see we are the Remnant Church, with the Gift of Prophecy? I pray we do, find a man and woman in agreement with God and man.
Will the Seventh Day Adventist Church deny their own Prophetess Ellen White, who prophesied 9-11-2001, and Michael standing up, and opening Daniel 12? Will the stone the Disciple of Jesus, John the beloved, by denying the prophecy of 9-11-2001 in the New Testament?
