“We must do our work with cheerfulness and hopefulness. We are in no case to become discouraged. Let us keep our eyes off the disagreeable parts of our experience, and let our words be full of good cheer. We can surround ourselves with a sunny atmosphere, or with an atmosphere charged with gloom. Let us educate ourselves to talk courage. Let us learn lessons from the example of Christ. Not even His terrible humiliation at the hands of the Jews and the Roman soldiers, —His mock trial and the cruel treatment that He received, —caused Him to become discouraged. [Jesus had the advantage of knowing He was going to die, come alive, and watch the faces of His disciples. . . come alive. . . they “knew” He was God, but their idea of Jesus setting up a kingdom on earth. . .was a “worldly” goal, but THE SPIRITUAL GOAL . . . of character perfection. . . would suddenly dawn upon them. . .after He was gone. . . and after the HOLY SPIRIT was poured out. . .from their mouths. . . that they had seen and talked with GOD. . .they KNEW HIM. . . but the “joke” was on the disciples, when they finally realized. . .He had trained them to be “like Him.” More kind, more patient, move loving on people, as they say. Forgiving, and caring for the “least of these my brethren.
“HOLD the beginning of your confidence firm unto the end. The light of God’s truth is not to be dimmed. It is to shine amidst the darkness of error that enshrounds our world. The Word of God is to be opened to those in the high places of the earth, as well as to those in the more lowly. The church of Christ is God’s agency for the proclamation of truth; she is empowered by Him to do a special work; and if she is loyal to God, obedient to His commandments, there will dwell within her the excellence of divine power. If she will honor the Lord God of Israel, (not a nation, but children who have gone through an experience like Jacob. . . who wrestled with GOD. . .are called by their new name. . .Children of ISRAEL. . .) there is NO POWER that can STAND AGAINST HER. . . the bride, the church. If she will be true to her allegiance, the forces of the enemy will be no more able to overpower her than as the chaff to resist the whirlwind.
“There is before the church the dawn of a bright, glorious day, if she will put on the robe of CHRIST’S RIGHTEOUSNESS, withdrawing from all allegiance to the world. . . . Mom used to say “When you get in your boat and sail out on the sea of life, when you get to the other shore . . . . get out of the boat.”
Her stoic attitude, included the many years of volunteering her help to raise funds for the Denver Junior Academy to become what is now the Mile High Academy in Denver, Colorado. The time, talent, and money spent on making fun, having fun, working hard to join the school families to lectures, guest film makers, that promoted family fun, and educational information began in the church.

A dense fog has grown out of the humidity, that surrounds our bushes and trees making a world, that I knew by the sea. . . we only lack fog horns and the sound of sea gulls crying out their location. To some it may seem to blend into the song. . .Dear Ones, the world is waiting for the sunrise, every flower is covered with dew, the thrush on high, his sleepy mate is calling, and my heart is calling you.
What can I do to make the world a better place? When older ears cannot hear. . .and a younger world is taking in a faster pace. Why am I here, to see the rise and fall of a generation, created to “sell its wares” to promote themselves?
What does it mean God will more than fulfill the HIGHEST EXPECTATIONS of those who put their trust in Him?
What high expectation do I have? To live, to die, to rise again, and be taken to heaven in a chariot of angels?
My lack of judgement in seeing only good in people. . . blurs the truth. . . I can be used. . .by those who trust. . . me . . . in my naïve state. . . can be useful to them. . .to help them prosper financially. But no clouds can change who I am. . .or who I know. . .but the Holy Spirit is alive and well. Goodness has its own enemies of truth. . .that we can become the puppets of those who help us see. . .how weak we are. . .in defending the goodness of HIS NAME. . .as the Highest authority in Heaven and on earth. . .GOD does not hold him guiltless who uses his name in vain.
We can only be the cannels of blessing to others, if they are willing to be healed and saved. . . . by His Righteousness. . . His love. . . His care. I am no ones enemy. Healing division . . . in a community. . . is a challenge. We have nine churches. We are a Christian fellowship. Many say “I’m a Christian”. . . and they do good works. . . they can even be puppets used by others.
Who do I worship? Not man but GOD. . . who knows the end from the beginning. . and it’s time to end the great conflict between GOD and He must destroy Satan, but not right away. . . the whole Universe has united in a vote. . .that they should see no more the work of evil. . . that rises out of power. . . to promote. . . war, strife and death. . .by the KING OF THE DESTOYERS. . .he seeks to destroy. . .because it breaks the heart of God, to see his loyal servants, being trod down. . . by the . . . dinosaurs. . . who live among us. . .who think we can be their puppet. . .to do their will. . .
When will we ever learn. . .the work of a lifetime can be spent. . .with us going around in circles. . .and blessed is the man who goes around in circles, for he shall be called a BIG WHEEL. or even a little cog. . .in the wheels of time. . .until the LAST DAYS . . . ends with conflict on the TEMPLE MOUNT IN JERUSALEM.
What can I do to prevent mankind from bowing down to the wrong god?
Beam me up Lord! I’m ready to leave this world behind me.
“And they shall be mine, saith the Lord. Men are choosing sides. Even those supposed to be heathen will choose the side of Christ, while those who become offended, as did the disciples, will go away and walk no more with Him. Malachi 3:17
“What effect will the attempt of men to make void the law of God have upon the righteous? Will they be intimidated because of the universal scorn that is put upon the holy law of God. Will the true believers in the, “Thus saith the Lord,” become wavering and ashamed because the whole world seems to despise His righteous law? Will they be carried away by the prevalence of evil? —NO! to those who have consecrated themselves to God to serve Him, the law of God becomes more precious when the contrast is shown between the obedient and the transgressor. In proportion as the attributes of Satan are developed in the despisers and transgressors of the law of God, to the faithful adherent the holy precept will become more dear and valuable. He will declares, “They have made void thy law. Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea above fine gold.” It is the ones who have been faithful stewards of the grace of God whose love of God’s commandments grows with the contempt which all around them would put upon them.
“Wicked men and the church harmonize in this hatred of the law of God, and then the crisis comes. . . . But while they are murmuring and complaining, and falsely accusing, and doing Satan’s work most zealously, another class is brought to our notice: “Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon His name.”
Sons and Daughters of God by Ellen White preparing us to not take THE MARK OF THE BEAST. . .a chip, we want the “mark” of bowing down to the “cross” where JESUS made the difference between life and eternal life, forever and a day.

But bowing down to a slave driver instead of claiming FREEDOM under the FREEDOM purchased at THE CROSS, by OUR SAVIOUR. . .demands a conscious reflection on “what is important” in our lives. . . money and things, when God calls us HIS GEMSTONES. . .people who can be polished, to SHINE FOR HIM.
Be a gem. . .permit Him to polish the rough edges of our lives. . .like the carpenter He is. . . .
The name DANIEL means. . . GOD IS MY JUDGE. . . that brings HOPE FOR ME. . .because He knows me better than anyone else.

The Creator gives us trials to see our character. . .is in HIS HANDS. . .and it is true, we all have room for improvement. . . when will we ever learn?
The Lions in the cage with Daniel had their mouths shut by Daniels’ angels. . .
Dan 2:23 I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee: for thou hast now made known unto us the king’s matter.

What do you think of the WORDS OF JESUS?
Why would He ask us to PRAY? that our flight be not in the winter? or on the sabbath?
Was JESUS looking down to the last day events, inviting us to even have a day of REST. . .as we pray for no future flight. . .away from our homes. . .in the WINTER or on His Seventh Sabbath Day?
When I read of GOD who cares. . .about us. . . here in these last days. . .it makes me love Him more.

Courage is needed and Encouragement needs to given, to listen, think, and decide for yourself, if it is in harmony with scripture.

Rev 11:11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. [God’s voice gives the day and hour He will return. . . .could be 40 days]
Rev 11:13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven. Rev 11:14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
The Seventh Trumpet
On Mount Sinai the Trumpet was the voice of Yeshua, Jesus Christ the voice of THUNDER is God the Father. . . speaking with a very LOUD VOICE
Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. Rev 11:16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, Rev 11:17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. Rev 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. The Seventh and LAST PLAGUE is GREAT HAIL. . . Revelation 11:19
The Plagues started in Heaven. . .with those in the Throne Room in Agreement.
GODS THRONE ROOM: See the elders, have the vials of the Seven Last Plagues, they are giving them to the angels. . . .much like Moses and Aaron came to the Pharaoh, who refused to let the go. . . .However: The Two Witnesses can go up to Heaven, while Satan is bound here for a thousand years. . . on a planet he has destroyed, because he is THE KING OF THE DESTROYERS. . . in Revelation 9:11
The 7th seal has been broken by the 7 eyed, 7 horned Lamb of GOD. . .
Rev 16:12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. [This is where the direction of the SUN OF RIGHEOUSNESS is coming. . .the Kings of The EAST . . .reminded us of the STAR OF THE EAST. . .that sang. . .when the shepherds heard them. . .AND GOD WILL BRING HIS CHOIR COMING AND YOU CAN HEAR THEM. . . even it is looks like dark cloud the size of human hand. . .and fire below. . . You will see YOUR KING, OUR MESSIAH, and enough angels to take you to your mother. . .and unite families together.]

Like the Thief on the Cross Out Lord is giving THE LIVING, an EXAMPLE OF HIS POWER to not only RAISE THE DEAD, but brings that CHARIOT to SWING DOWN AND CARRY US HOME.
Man may judge you, but GOD LOOKS ON THE HEART. . .the mind and soul by those who call upon HIS NAME, and wish to be made WHOLE, mentally, physically, spiritually and socially once more. . .

We have marked illustrations of the sustaining power of firm, religious principle. Even the fear of death could not make the fainting David drink of the water of Bethlehem, to obtain which, valiant men had risked their lives. The gaping lions’ den could not keep Daniel from his daily prayers, nor could the fiery furnace induce Shadrach and his companions to fall down before the idol which Nebuchadnezzar set up. Young men who have firm principles will eschew (HATE) pleasure, defy pain, and brave even the lions’ den and the heated fiery furnace rather than be found UNTRUE to JESUS, God and the Holy Spirit.
“Let it be written upon the conscience as with a pen of iron upon the rock, that real success, whether for this life or for the life to come, can be secured only by faithful adherence to the eternal principles of right.”

P.S. Some wise acer is going to ask me, “Connie. . . . are your ready for the lions?” And when he did ask me about the lions. . .this is really true. . .this was the tactic of the chaplain. . . . sent to consul me. . . . during my husbands time in the Alzheimer’s Unit. . .my answer was, “GIVE ME THE LIONS!” then that thought that passes understanding. . .came to mind. . .Give me THE LION. . .from the tribe of Judah. . .give me JESUS CHRIST. . .that’s MY LION. . . .and my line.
I hope you can see my smile. . .Why can such humor. . . pop up. . . in times of our greatest weakness, when we toss up that prayer. . . and something we have said to others.. . . comes back to meet us.

Now I’ve got the lion He is The Lamb. . .looks frightening, but he’s a good protector, of his sons and daughters. . .He risked dying for us. . . but GOD could not die. . .you’re right. . . .he had to come in the flesh. . . in order to die. , ,suffering and understand our pain and sorrow. . .He knows what it’s like to be frightened.

Every time we mess up there is collateral damage. . . why is life so messy??? And why do we suffer because someone else. . .
is having a bad day? . . .what are we going to do those PETERS in our family? hum . . . we’ve got to keep our sense of humor. . .God has written the last script for HIS STORY. . .get the news in Revelation 11. . .when two sinners go to HEAVEN. . .can’t wait for this last episode. . .to be over, edited, and published. . .hum
It is a “sin” to kill an innocent man of God. . .son and daughters of God
“And Joshua said unto Achan, My son, give, I pray thee, glory to the Lord God of Israel, and make confession unto him; and tell me now what thou hast done; hide it not fro me..” Joshua 7:19
“The history of Achan teaches the solemn lesson that for one man’s sin the displeasure of God will rest upon a people or a nation till the transgression is searched out and punished. Sin is corrupting in its nature. One man infected with its deadly leprosy may communicate the taint to thousands. . . . Many dare not condemn iniquity, lest they shall thereby sacrifice position or popularity. And by some it is considered uncharitable to rebuke sin. The servant of God. . . .is under the most solemn obligation to present the Word of God, without fear or favor. He must call sin by its right name. . .
“The love of God will never lead to the belittling of sin. it will never cover or excuse an unconfessed wrong. Achan learned too late that God’s law, like its Author, is unchanging. It has to do with all our acts and thoughts and feelings. It follows us, and reaches every secret spring of action. By indulgence in sin, men are led to lightly regard the law of God. Many conceal their transgressions from their fellow men, and flatter themselves that God will not be strict to mark iniquity. But His law is the great standard of right, and with it every act of life must be compared in that day when God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good or evil. Purity of heart will lead to purity of life. All excuses for sin are vain. Who can plead for the sinner when God testifies against him?”
“The greatest want of world is the want of men, —men who will not be bought or sold; men who in their inmost souls are true and honest; men who do not fear to call sin b its right name; men whose conscience is as true to duty as the needle to the pole; men who will stand for the right though the heavens fall.”

“And I sent messengers unto them, saying, I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, while I leave it, and come down to you? Nehemiah 6:3
“God has men and women in reserve, prepared to meet the demand, that His work may be preserved from all contaminating influences. God will be honored and glorified. When the divine Spirit impresses the mind of the man and women appointed by God as fit for the work, he responds saying, “Here am I; send me.” . . . Nehemiah showed himself to be a man whom God could use to put down false principles and to restore heaven-born principles; and God honored him. The Lord will use in His work men who are as true as steel to principle, who will not be swayed by the sophistries of those who have lost their spiritual eyesight.
“Nehemiah was chosen by God because he was willing to cooperate with the Lord as a restorer. Falsehood and intrigue were used to pervert his integrity, but he would not bribed. He refused to be corrupted by the devices of unprincipled men, who had been hired to do an evil work. He would not allow them to intimidate him into following a cowardly course. When he saw wrong principles being acted upon, he did not stand by as an onlooker, and by his silence give consent. He did not leave the people to conclude that he was standing on the wrong side. He took a firm, unyielding stand for the right. He would not lend one jot of influence to the perversion of the principles that God has established.
“We shall meet with opposition of every description, as did the builders of the walls of Jerusalem; but if we watch and pray, and work as they did, God will fight our battles for us, and give us precious victories. . . . We should move forward with unwavering confidence, believing that God will give to His truth great and precious victories. . . . Relying upon Jesus, we shall carry a convincing power with us that we have the truth.
Take a hike. . . .be with nature. . . . be with God. . . and His friends.
“And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible.” I Corinthians 9:23.
“In the family circle and in the church we should place Christian temperance on an elevated platform. It should be a living, working element, reforming habits, dispositions, and characters. In temperance lies at the foundation of all the evil in our world.
“The children need to be given lessons that will mature in them courage to resist evil. . . . Parents should exercise great care in regard to the food placed before their children. Drunkards are only too often made by lessons of intemperance learned in the home. Let the children be given food that will build up mind and body, but keep away from them the highly seasoned dishes that would arose a desire for still stronger stimulants.
“The use of tobacco and strong drink has a great deal to dow ith increase of disease and crime. Tobacco is a slow, insidious, but most malignant poison, and its use is working untold harm.
“No argument is needed to show the evils of the use of the intoxicating drink. The bleared, besotted wrecks of humanity, —souls for whom Christ died, and over whom angels weep,—are everywhere. They are a blot on our boasted civilization. . . .
“Those who in ancient times ran for a prize realized the importance of temperate habits, and how much more should we, who are running a race for a heavenly crown. We should put forth every effort to overcome evil.
“At this time and on all occasions it requires moral courage to adhere to the principles of strict temperance.
“Remember that you are daily weaving for yourself a web of habits. . . . The better you observe the laws of health, the more clearly can you discern temptations, and resist them, and the more clearly can you discern the value of eternal things.”

I was blessed with family and friends, who found the day of Sabbath to be a signal for taking our worship outside, into the Colorado Mountains. While sitting on a hillside, overlooking the great Rocky Mountains, from the slope we found while jeeping on some dirt road. . . the campaign to invite our fellow travelers grew to be 17 jeeps that day. . .wishing to hear A GOOD WORD, and Wisdom, from the elders. The treasure of thoughts brought out of God’s Word, for Today, for Tomorrow give us strength for the future.
It brings back good memories of going to Camp Meeting in Soquel California. . . .Where guest speakers would come to share educational requirements for our doctors, dentist’s nurse’s, and dental hygienists. There is nothing worse than getting together and not learning something new. . . What would you like to learn? What has prophecy done for you? Have you found someone who CARES FOR YOU like Jesus does? I pray this weekend you will find the comfort, like a chick of a Mother Hen, who hides you under her wings.
Psalms 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
“The ungodly are those who do not love and obey the commandments of God, but go contrary to them. This is the class of counselors you are warned to shun,—the class which Satan uses to lead youth astray. Their counsels, their suggestions are of a character to make light of sin, to ridicule righteousness. . . . They are represented as standing in the way of sinners, always leading them out of the straight path of duty and obedience to God’s commandments into paths of disobedience. If it were not for those persons who do wrong and tempt others to do wrong, many sinners might have chosen the path of duty, the life of purity and godliness.
“The fear of ridicule leads many a youth to yield to temptation and to walk in the way of the ungodly.
“Jesus would not place Himself in peril to please the devil. But how many today can stand a dare?”
“Allow no taunts, no threats, no sneering remarks, to induce you to violate your conscience in the least particular, and thus open a door whereby Satan can come in and control the mind. . . .
“You must be an interested student of the Bible. . . . His Word is a sure guide; if it is carefully studied, there is no danger of falling under the power of temptations that surround the youth, and crowd in upon them.
“Some may ridicule you for being so strict; they may call you self-righteous; but be careful to start right, and then keep quietly on. The history of Daniel, if it was written, would open chapters before you that would show you the temptation he had to meet, of ridicule, envy, and hatred; but . . . . he rose superior to ridicule; and so will everyone who is an overcomer.”

The picture of Daniel in the LION’S DEN. . . seems fitting for the prophet, the disciples of Jesus, and modern day people born to see visions. . . and dreams. . .in our day.
P.S. When Terry was in the Alzheimer Unit the chaplain called me a question. “Do you feel like Daniel in the Lion’s den?” I had to laugh. “Give me the LIONS!” I answered. Actually give me THE LION. . .from the TRIBE OF JUDAH. . .and we laughed.
There is no place we can go where GOD IS not present there. . .HE IS! HE LIVES! THE PROPHET! The KING. He lives to make intercession for us. He sends us angels to protect us from the “lions” in our lives.
At the same time, we can realize how Jesus was hounded by the religious zealots who were eager to silence the voice of the one who called Lazarus out of the grave.
What would you do if you saw, a resurrection of two sinners on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem? . . . Would that shock you? Or would it be even better, if these two sinners, were taken to heaven in a cloudy chariot of angels, like Elijah was?
The WORLD deserves to know HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS HAS BEEN MADE KNOWN. . .GOD can deliver us all, from this Earth, by calling upon the NAME OF JESUS. . .the child from Nazareth, born in Bethlehem, lived in Egypt, longed to do the will of HIS FATHER. . .and die for our sins against His Government. . .
When will we ever learn . . . .How many miles does a white dove fly. . .before she lands on the sand. . . How many graves must we walk by. . . Before we realize. . .they rest in peace, they have no memory, no worry, and will wake up to see JESUS coming in a cloud to take us home.
And every eye will see Him. . .coming in the clouds.
