In 1981 the unpublished works of Ellen White were printed in paperback, in a glow of rainbow colors, that I purchased before they went on CDs. By sending myself to Nebraska, to contemplate the vastness of literature, I began reading these books, and as usual messing up their pages with underlining, etc.
But this paragraph stuck in my head when reading the Great Controversy and its copy called The Triumph of God’s Love, by Ellen White. The Chapter God’s People Delivered, gives an organized, detailed sequence of events, that brings us to hear the great voice of God, saying “My grace is sufficient for thee.”

“Study the 9th Chapter of Ezekiel. These words will be literally fulfilled, yet the time is passing, and the people are asleep. They refuse to humble their souls and to be converted. Not a great while longer will the Lord bear with the people who have such great and important truths revealed to them, but who refuse to bring these truths into their individual experiences. The time is short. God is calling; will you hear? Will you receive His message? Will you be converted before it is too late? Soon, and very soon, every case will be decided for eternity. Pointing us back to the Bible, she does.
Idolaters Killed [subheading, King James Version]
Eze 9:1 He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand. Eze 9:2 And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer’s inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brasen altar. Eze 9:3 And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer’s inkhorn by his side; Eze 9:4 And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof. Eze 9:5 And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity: Eze 9:6 Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house. Eze 9:7 And he said unto them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go ye forth. And they went forth, and slew in the city. Eze 9:8 And it came to pass, while they were slaying them, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy pouring out of thy fury upon Jerusalem? Eze 9:9 Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The LORD hath forsaken the earth, and the LORD seeth not. Eze 9:10 And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will recompense their way upon their head.
Eze 9:11 And, behold, the man clothed with linen, which had the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, saying, I have done as thou hast commanded me.
The Garden Tomb is north of the Temple Mount, the Place of the Skull is an escarpment called, Jeremiah’s grotto, and the empty Tomb in the Garden.
In the SDA Bible Commentary on Revelation 11, she wrote, “The Ten Commandments will come out of hiding and be the convincing truth” that God on Mount Sinai engraved His Laws for His Government on stone. So, why would we have an issue on the Temple Mount with the man of sin, wishing to change the times and laws of God, wanting to sit on God’s Throne, in His Sanctuary. . .and the JEWS are NOT DUMB, they know this. . .they know GOD KNOWS. . .and the TRIUMPH OF GOD, on the TEMPLE MOUNT, is to be the focus of every eye in the world, when the ark of the testimony of Jesus appears, with six beings, coming in the northern gate, of the Temple Mount.
However, Jesus spoke of this scenario in 95 A.D. when He gave the words to his scribe John, for 1927 years. 2022-95=1927 years
The Two Witnesses (King James subtitle)
Rev 11:1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. Rev 11:2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. Rev 11:3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. Rev 11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. Rev 11:5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. Rev 11:6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. Rev 11:7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. Rev 11:8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. Rev 11:9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. Rev 11:10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. Rev 11:11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. Rev 11:12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. Rev 11:13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
Rev 11:14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
The Seventh Trumpet (The Last Plague)
Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. Rev 11:16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
Rev 11:17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. Rev 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. Rev 11:19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
Ezekiel is the book that depicts the glory of the Lord, looking like four faces, of a LION, is Jesus the lion from the tribe of Judah, the OX, a baby calf with God’s non-threatening “horns of power”, an EAGLE like the eyes of God knowing our GPS and “One like the sons and daughters of God” you and I want this struggle between Michael and Lucifer to come to an end….and Michael has never lost a battle.
And this happens in Jerusalem, on the Temple Mount, in the sight of the world, on the brink of nuclear war. GOD SHOWS UP, with His destroying angels, to defend His Government, that never forces us to bow down, we volunteer to worship at His feet and meet His friends, His disciples, in the New Jerusalem. . . and at the wedding feast, prepared for His Bride, His church, with the “ten virgins” lighting their lamps, and having extra oil to keep them burning, until He comes.
Reminds me of mother cutting out little oil lamps, painting them and giving them for us to hold in kindergarten. . .singing This little light of mine, I’m going to let it shine…all around the neighborhood. . .I’m going to let shine. . .won’t let satan blow it out, I’m gonna let it shine.. hide it under a bushel, NO! I’m gonna let it shine
I had to be two years old, when we were in the old church with a circular, metal staircase, that wound us around and down to the basement. During the fall, the harvest ingathering trucks pulled up to the basement rooms, and we loaded up to go singing around town, asking for a few cents to help the poor and needy. . .then the folks who owned the bakery, brought us hot chocolate and doughnuts. What good memories of the old Denver South Church on York Street.
We know the names of the four angels guarding the Ten Commandments who are strong enough to help carry the Ark of the Testimony to the Temple Mount, but the text says 4, and the New Testament of Jesus Christ, puts two witnesses in Jerusalem, as martyrs to die, come alive and are taken to heaven in Revelation 11.
Covid is nothing compared to the 7 last plagues. . . like the plagues that came upon Egypt. There is Bible PROMISE..
Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
The devil cannot leave this earth, he is grounded for a thousand years on this planet to walk among the ruins that he himself has encouraged, to destroy those who worship a GOD, who does not destroy, but gives us the freedom to voluntarily appreciate all that HE has done for us. . .is for our best good.
Turns out, “fear” is the threat the devil uses to discourage us. However, “The fear of the Lord” comes with experience, of asking Him to give us His Holy Spirit. . .As I take Him to be my Bridegroom, and lean on Him, bad things have turned me to KNOW, I can depend on Him. . . and there is no turning back . . .from peace of mind.
Praise the Lord, in all things, even the little things.
The weather was forcased to be 112 in the shade, something we experienced as kids, visiting Grandma and Grandpa Fults. But a cloud came over, we even got rain. . .its back to school, fall weather and locust singing, the weeds are easy to pull the garden. . got corn, okra, squash, rhubarb and chard, a few tomatoes…stunted by hot weather.
The thoughts of a Garden of Eden without weeds. . .seems very appealing, and roses without thorns remind me of “who” has brought this curse to our planet, and why we want God to destroy THE DESTROYERS…who concoct genetic mutations to curse us.
I have one last thought.
Once to every man and nation comes the moment to decide. In the strife of truth with falsehood, For the good or evil side. Some great cause, God’s new Messiah, Offering each the bloom or blight, And the choice goes by forever “Twixt that darkness and that light.”
PS
There is plenty to digest, in Ezekiel 9 and Revelation 11, and in context with the words of the last days in THE DELIVERANCE OF GODS PEOPLE, it works best to invite a study group to read the sequence of events, prophesied by Ezekiel and Jesus Christ, Our Messiah, in The Great Controversy, which means the great controversy between Michael the Archangel and the once guardian of the ten commandments, Lucifer the Archangel.
God didn’t make a great nation, the Jewish people have been just a few. . .but who knew in the last days, they would find Their Messiah is Jesus Christ, as they studied Isaiah, that scroll found in the desert, that has brought new light on Our Messiah is their only hope, to be humbled, at the feet of Jesus.
