Jesus washing the feet of His Disciples. . .to show us how to be humble
“Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am. 4 If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another’s feet. “When the disciples entered the UPPER ROOM, their hearts were full of resentful feelings. Judas pressed next to Christ on the left side; John was on the right. If there was a highest place, Judas was determined to have it, and that place was thought to be next to Christ.
“Another cause of dissension had arisen. At the feast it was customary for a servant to wash the feet of the guests. . . The pitcher, the basin, and the towel were there, in readiness for the feet washing; but no servant was present, and it was the disciples’ part to perform it. . . . Jesus waited for a time to see what they would do. The He, the divine Teacher, rose from the table. Laying aside the outer garment that would have impeded His movement, He took a towel, and girded Himself. . . . “After that he poured water into a basin, and began to wash the disciples feet.” . . . So Christ expressed HIS LOVE FOR HIS DISCIPLES.
“The celebration of these ordinances in the fulfilling of the command, “If I, then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye ought to wash one another’s feet. . . ” What a place is this for hushing controversies, for forgiving those who have done us any injury. This is the tie, if one has anything against his brother, to make it right, to settle every difficulty. Let there be mutual forgiveness. Let no strange flame be brought to the altar. Let no malice, no hatred, be cherished by those who meet round the communion table.

Even though we come to church with clean feet, that basis for ending controversies between sisters and brothers, sets aside a time and place for kneeling down at the feet of someone who has offended you. It is an “act” of being a servant of God. . .
The Last Supper, seemed to be a contest for “who would be greatest” in the Kingdom of God, that was to be set up on earth. However, God will not set up a kingdom on earth, until it is restored to its pristine Creation. And to that, God has set aside a thousand years, for Satan, to rome over earth, to see and know what destruction he has caused. At that time we will be in heaven. For a thousand years will pass by very fast for us, but not for Satan, who knows his last thoughts will be the penalty for tempting and leading people into the greatest sin, of man’s inhumanity to man.
The Prayer of Jesus on The Mount of Olives, reflects His agony for more than just Jerusalem but for all who live on Planet Earth, and also for the unseen Worlds that are observing this Test of exposing the True God. . . who lays down His Life for His Friends and Enemies.
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. . . . . In the world ye shall have tribulation: . . . . but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.John 16:33
Satan made stronger attacks upon Christ than he will ever make upon us. . . There was much at stake with him, whether Jesus or himself (Satan) should be conqueror. If Jesus resisted Satan’s’ most powerful temptations, and Satan did not succeed in leading Him to sin, he knew that he MUST LOSE HIS POWER, and finally be punished with EVERLASTING DESTRUCTION. . . . THEREFORE Satan worked with mighty power to lead CHRIST to do a wrong action, for then he would gain advantage over Him (Jesus). . . You can NEVER BE TEMPTED in determined and cruel a manner as was Our Saviour: Satan was upon His path every moment. [Which makes THE NAME OF JESUS, and inviting JESUS to walk with us each day, so IMPORTANT, to do in the , Noon and Evening.]

[ arifices: clever or cunning devices or expedients, especially as used to trick or deceive others:“the style is not free from the artifices of the period” the spelling reminds me of the word sacrifices. . .the things we sacrifice . . .the things we don’t need. . .are what we lay on the altar of sacrifice. We cannot be blessed or have perfect rest, until ALL on the ALTAR is SLAIN. Perhaps this kind of rest, was seen a holy escape from the pain of this world and viewing the suffering of souls that have not reached this plain of rejoicing. . .for the martyrs. . . . to leave this world. . .and its suffering in exchange for the kind peace of mind Christ offers? ]

P.S. I have NEVER before seen the need of Jesus, to receive power to obey Our Heavenly Father’s Commandments, and then the power, that the tempter Satan, can gain NO ADVANTAGE. . .when we keep our Heavenly Father’s Commandments, like Jesus did.
Since I was a very small child, circling down the metal steps to the basement of the Old York Street Church, obeying My parents, going with them in the car to church, to be with our larger family of aunts and uncles, cousins, and Grandparents, was more than just going to church on the 7th day of Creation Week, it always was a celebration of being together as a FAMILY. . .with Uncle Tines, and his wife, who was not really an uncle, but we called him that, because he was a part of our family of friends.
Those early years are wonderful memories of my Mother, cutting out little cardboard lamps, and carefully painting them, so we could hold them, when we sang. . .”This little light of mine, I’m going to let it shine, let it shine, let is shine, all around the neighborhood, I’m going to let it shine, let it shine. Won’t let Satan blow it out! I’m going to let it shine. . .Won’t let Satan blow it out! I’m going to let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.”
The idea of being “a light” a happy face, cheerful, playful, and fun loving child of God, was eagerly accepted by the four of us children. The playful antics at the supper table, the playful antics helping daddy mow the lawn, and putting Cindy in the wheelbarrow, as we hauled her on top of the cut grass to the backlot, was just part of our togetherness, on a regular basis. Daddy mowing, us helping him.
Mother played her part in being silly, singing and throwing the dish rage in the kitchen, if we could goad her into slinging and teasing us back. We did not play to heckle each other, but to have a kind of fun game going on. Sometimes we were singing while drying the dishes and cleaning up in the kitchen. That was the place and time to put NEW WORDS into OLD SONGS.
To the tune of THE EXODUS came this song. THIS CAR. . .IS MINE. . . with all its nuts and bolts. (cheap Simca, I drove to High school) The TAIL Pipe almost always smokes. . . but when my tires go flat, I call my sister back. . . if you want to ride with me you HAVE TO PUSH.
Sometimes Janet had to get out of the car in her high heels, to push the car to START. . .so being the “older” sister did come in handy. . .sometimes. . . but I was also to be “wiser” because I was older, and sometimes, Janet took advantage of getting me into trouble. . .because she knew. . .she was younger. . .and I would get sent to the “SWEETIN UP ROOM” (the bathroom, was where we were sent for a time out).
By being “the older” and “smarter one” I learned to be aware of Janet’s pranks. . .that could get me into trouble. . .and even now that brings a SMILE TO MY FACE. . .because as an adult, I must beware of entering her kitchen, when Janet gets that smile on her face. . .the one that means she wants to play. . .and her hand heads for the kitchen towel. . .I must take care to prepare to back up. . . so the length of her hand and arm, plus the twisted towel, will be just out of her reach, to pop me with her weapon. (If you know what I mean. . .she has a wonderful smile on her face. . .just to keep me in line. . . knowing she’s not dead yet.)
I think the THING I MISS MOST are those early days of working together, in the garden, killing the grasshoppers for mother. Or feeding the pets, or watching daddy make sawdust in the garage. Our house, garage, play house, fire pit, and outdoor table, also included a net for badminton, and pole for tetherball, a swing and chin up bar. These were not considered toys, but were considered as a means to help keep us active and employed in becoming healthy physically.
Our development, character development, mental, physical, social and spiritually was like a wagon with four wheels. And that red wagon, was the means of our big brother Franklin to pull us up to Denver University, which was like a big park to eat our homemade lunch, that Franklin had made by frying the baloney for sandwiches. We could pick up the old glass bottles used to dispense coke and take them to the drug store to trade in for comic books. Mom said those comic books helped learn us how to read. (smile here)
The freedom we had, as kids in our town. . .traveling up the block unto the campus, and across the busy street to trade in used coke bottles, was our play area. While the Engineering department was just outside our window, and we could go to visit on ENGINEERING DAY. . .to eat the first microwaved cup cakes, put our hand on the machine that make our hair stand out on end, and watch and learn how to make crystal gardens with chemicals. What a place to see and learn while the men who had returned from WWII were getting educated. . .too, on the G. I. bill.
Today is not just any day. It is another DAY I am looking to see if GOD will give me THE SIGN, to board a plane for Jerusalem. . .this week has been quite full, with the threat of the thunderstorm and baseball size hail. . .and now the threat of WONDER, if I have been chosen to go to Jerusalem and help bring out the Ten Commandments. . . . so you see. . . why this lesson for May 29, tomorrow, is especially important for me. For tomorrow is Saturday, the DAY OF REST, the DAY of being with my spiritual family. . .and by tonight. . . I will KNOW AGAIN….if it is in GODS TIMING for someone to fly to Israel, and bring out the LAW for the GOVERNMENT OF GOD, is being FORCED TO THE FRONT, to be examined, as the TEN RULES, that PROVE TRUE LOVE. . .is JUSTICE, for all. . . ONE NATION UNDER GOD, INDIVISIBLE with LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL.
We did not have this kind of problem. . . until we began to open the doors to a new religion. . . that allows its congregations TO DESTROY, literally to kill, those who have a BELIEF IN JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD.
This GREAT RELIGION OF UNBELIEF. . .in JESUS THE PROPHET OF GOD. . .has many embracing JESUS CHRIST THE TRUE PROPHET. . .even the Jews have found THEIR MESSIAH with dry blood that comes alive with 24 chromosomes.
HAS GOD GIVEN THE WORLD ENOUGH EVIDENCE OF HIS POWER TO SAVE TO UTMOST AND TAKE FORGIVEN SINNERS TO HEAVEN WITH HIM IN THE CLOUDS?
If HIS THRONE ROOM HAS SEEN THE 7 eyed, 7 horned LAMB OF GOD, remove the 7th SEAL on the 7 SEALED SCROLL, then it may be TIME for HIM, to TRANSPORT, a couple of forgiven sinners, INTO HIS LITERAL KINGDOM, where the JEWS KNOW. . .there is a NEW JERUSALEM. . .in HEAVEN.
5:14 A.M. on May 28, 2021 , , , ,HISTORY must NOW BE RECORDED, for the POSTERITY of GODS KINGDOM, to be seen as the true source of PEACE, within boundaries, that comes from a GOD OF LOVE, who states HIS KINGDOM IS OPEN TO ALL and there is NO ADMISSION FEE, for those who can behave themselves and they can eat at the TREE OF LIFE FOR FREE.
This idea reminds me of the freedom we had to roam all over the Denver University Campus as kids. HEAVEN is for kids. We had access to the STACKS, the library in the basement. . .we had access to the teachers and their rooms decorated with body parts in bottles. We could visit the RAT HOUSE and pet their pet rat.
WE knew Mr. Vance would appreciate us coming by the boiler room where he took care of the maintenance of the heating for the campus. He and his wife lived down the street from our house. Mrs. Vance would be cooking supper for Mr. Vance and making his favorite pie, cake or ice cream. We could watch her bake, and laugh, knowing Mr Vance would come in saying, “I want pie, cake and ice cream.” and Mrs. Vance would say, “Turn the record over.” And Mr. Vance would have something new to say. . .maybe he was going fishing. . .
With memories like this. . . .of being a child around a University, we can IMAGE WHAT BEING AROUND HEAVEN WILL BE LIKE, as we OPEN THE BOOKS, discover for others, what they have been missing for hundreds of years. And taking tours to other planets, and telling others how it “felt” to be “different” . . . and how folks looked at us. . .as a happy family.
HEAVEN becomes so important to me, when I think of family, friends, cousins again, all in one according sitting on a mountain top, with someone leading the music, as we overlook the old mining towns below. . .and prepare to eat our lunch below the cobalt blue skies of Colorado. . .and jiggle down the bumpy old railroad bed, with ashes turning us a color of dark black. . .that means we will need to go the HOT SPRINGS over the hill, to get our Saturday night bath, and swim in the hotel hot springs pool.
HEAVEN WILL be much like living on a campus, with friends, food and making plans for where we will meet. . .AGAIN and AGAIN…and to never part again.
Connie here from Beaver City, where we have more cows than people, and fear of a thunderstorm and hail that destroys, will never again happen in Heaven for sure…that will be NO NIGHT THERE. . . no need to tune into the radio all night to find the flight of the deadly clouds with their ice-making balls called hail.

“With our limited powers we are to be Holy in our sphere
as God is Holy in His sphere.”
“God expects us to BUILD characters in accordance with the Pattern set before us. We are to lay brick upon brick, adding grace to grace, finding our weak points and correcting them in accordance with the directions given. When a crack is seen in the walls of mansion, we know that something about the building is wrong. In our character building, cracks are often seen. Unless these defects are remedied, the house will fall when the tempest of trial beats upon it.
“God gives us STRENGTH, REASONING POWER, TIME, in order that we may build characters on which He can place His stamp of approval. He desires each child of His to build a noble character, by the doing of pure, noble deeds, that in the end He may present a symmetrical structure, a fair temple, honored by man and God.
“In our character building we must build on Christ. He is the sure foundation–a foundation which can never be moved. The tempest of of temptation and trial cannot move the building which is riveted to the Eternal Rock. He or she who would grow into a beautiful building for the Lord must cultivate every power of the being. It is only by the right use of the talents that the character can develop harmoniously. Thus we bring to the foundation that which is represented in the Word as gold, silver, precious stones–material that will stand the test of God’s purifying fires.

Jesus healing the leper . . .with joy unleashed by his friends. I can laugh at this artist giving Jesus blonde curly hair. . .don’t think that is very Jewish. hummm smile here. Neither is the blondie beside him very Jewish looking. humm We did have an interesting discussion in our ladies Bible Study. . .what color was Jesus? The dark Mediterranean skin and influx of characters from Africa, and Egypt suggest a mix of Arabs. The quirky nose with its bend, has always been a focal point of many jests. But black curly hair is a must in my eyes, for our Saviour.

“Our Saviour took up the true relationship of a human being as the Son of God. We are sons and daughters of God. In order to know how to behave ourselves circumspectly, we me must follow where Christ leads the way. For thirty years He lived the life of a perfect man, meeting the highest standard of perfection.
“Our work is to strive to attain in our sphere of action the perfection that Christ in His life on the earth attained in every phase of character.
“To go forward without stumbling, we must have the assurance that a hand all powerful will hold us up, and an infinite pity be exercised toward us, if we fall. God alone can at all times hear our cry for help.
“It is a solemn thought that the removal of one safeguard from the conscience, the failure to fulfill one good resolution, the formation of one wrong habit, may result in the ruin of those who have put confidence in us. Our only safety in protection implicitly to Him who says, “Follow me.” Our constant prayer should be, “Hold up my goings in thy path, O Lord, that my footsteps slip not.”
“Every faculty with which the Creator has endowed us should be cultivated to the highest degree of perfection, that we may be able to do the greatest amount of good of which we are capable. In order to refine and purify our characters, we need the grace given us of Jesus that will enable us to see and correct our deficiencies, and improve that which is excellent in our characters.
“The Son of God was faultless. We must aim at this perfection, and overcome as He overcame, if we would have a seat at His right hand.”

P.S. This journey towards perfection, is like the Hebrew dance that goes two steps forward and one step backward. . .and yet we progress . . . only as we walk in His footsteps to see and feel the joy He had in bringing about the progress He sees in you and me. Jesus had a better way to improve the lives of those around Him.

LAUGH? for ye shall laugh?
This a new concept, yet one I can understand. . . because JESUS KNEW HE would come alive on the third day. He saw beyond their pain, suffering and grief, a time to cry and time to LAUGH, as Thomas would not be assured that Christ was real, until he saw the scars and touched his side, from which the blood and water had poured out.

Kinda hard to take that in. . .when my sins come to mind. . . I ask God to forgive me! I want no unconfessed sin to be on my mind. Neither do I wish to hurt anyone around me. Sometimes I feel zealous for Jesus, not having money, or worries. Yet, His life was one of poverty.
I have a PRAISE, last night was the blood moon, but it never came out to be seen between very thick and wildly predicted thunderstorm, for our area, that talked about baseball size hail.
Last night I saw the lighting, I saw balls of lighting in the clouds, the flash of light that is usually followed BY THE THUNDER. . .did not happen. . . we had a THUNDERSTORM, with LIGHTNING, but it was SILENT. . .and just to make sure we knew it had hail, we heard the popping of the hail on the patio. . .the cat and I.
It was almost like being in an auditorium, with movie flashing lights, but with the sound turned off, we could hear the rain, then a very small dose of the reality above us. . .with the sound of hail. . .for a very little time frame.
I have to admit, we prayed and my sister in California prayed. . . with me. And I have to admit, and I know, there will be talk today about the quiet THUNDERSTORM, LIGHTING and NOT THE HAIL, that must have moved to some other place, but the long wave of clouds, were rolling from the south, with the rain coming under the cloud from the north. The rumbling of hail stones in the cloud, could be heard. . .like a rolling rock tumbler. . . for miles long . . . over our heads.
I hate to even think of hearing of the weather reports of what really happened…around us.
And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
The Black Hose is holding THE BALANCES. Each character is being weighed in the balance: Reminiscent of the Handwriting on the Wall, translated by Daniel, when the gates of Babylon were opened, and Kingdom of Babylon fell. . . .at hands of the soon to be Persian Empire . . .that would lead to The Story of Esther and her Uncle Mordecai. . .that would FREE THE JEWS. . .
Purim is the Jewish Celebration of Queen Esther and Mordecai saving the Jews, from the revengeful enemy of God and His Sabbath keeping people, resulting in the King of Persia saving the Jews.
“The decree which is to go forth against the people of God will be very similar to that issued by Ahasuerus against the Jews in the time of Esther. The Persian edict sprang from the malice of Haman toward Mordecai. Not that Mordecai had done him harm, but he had refused to show him reverence which belongs ONLY TO GOD. The king’s decision against the Jews was secured under false pretenses’ through misrepresentation of that peculiar people. Satan instigated the scheme in order to RID THE EARTH OF THOSE WHO PRESERVED THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUE GOD. But his plots were DEFEATED by a counterpower that reigns among the children of men. ANGELS that EXCEL in STRENGTH were COMMISSIONED to PROTECT the People of God, and the plots of their adversaries returned UPON THEIR OWN HEADS. The Protestant world today see in the little company keeping The Sabbath a Mordecai IN THE GATE. His character and conduct, expressing reverence for the law of God, are a constant rebuke to those who have CAST OFF THE FEAR OF THE LORD and are trampling upon His Sabbath; the unwelcome intruder must be some means be put out of the way.
“The same masterful mind that plotted against the faithful in ages past is still seeking to ride the earth of those who fear God and obey His law. Satan will excite indignation against the humble minority who conscientiously refuse to accept popular customs and traditions. Men of position and reputation will join with the lawless and the vile to take counsel against the people of God. Wealth, genius, education, will combine to cover them with contempt. Persecuting rulers, ministers, and church members will CONSPIRE AGAINST THEM. With VOICE and PEN, by BOASTS, THREATS, and RIDICULE, they will SEEK to OVERTHROW their FAITH. [This I understand too well] By false representations and angry appeals they will stir up the passions of the people. Not having a “Thus saith the Scriptures: to bring against the advocates of the Bible Sabbath, they will RESORT TO OPPRESSIVE ENACTMENTS to supply the lack. To SECURE POPULARITY and patronage, legislators will yield to the demand for a SUNDAY LAW. Those who FEAR GOD cannot accept an institution that violates the precept of the Decalogue (Ten Commandments of God). On this battlefield comes the last GREAT CONFLICT of the CONTROVERSY between TRUTH and ERROR. And we are not left in doubt as to the issue. NOW, as in the DAYS OF MORDECAI, the LORD will VINDICATE HIS TRUTH and HIS PEOPLE.
“By the decree enforcing the institution of the papacy in violation of the law of God, OUR NATION will disconnect herself fully from RIGHTEOUSNESS. The people of God will then be plunged into those scenes of affliction and distress which prophets have described as the TIME OF JACOB’S TROUBLE. “GOD has REVEALED what is to take place IN THE LAST DAYS, that His people may be prepared to stand against the tempest of OPPOSITION AND WRATH. Those who have been warned of the events before them are not to sit in clam expectation of the coming storm, comforting themselves that the Lord will shelter His faithful ones in the day of trouble. While MEN ARE SLEEPING, SATAN is actively arranging matters so that the Lord’s people may not have mercy or justice. The SUNDAY MOVEMENT is now making its way in darkness. The leaders are concealing the true issue, and many who unite in the movement do not themselves see whither the undercurrent is tending.
Malachi_4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
There is healthy “fear” of awesome respect for God the Father, whose Son comes with His light, like the SUN. It is His Righteousness that saves us. It is His LOVE, as expressed in His Government, that has boundaries, to protect all MANKIND. THIS LIGHT that exposes injustice, and man’s inhumanity to man, that makes people “think” they can’t trust God.
Excuse me while I smile here. If we can’t trust GOD, who can we trust? So God says, treat your neighbor as yourself. . . .be kind to your neighbors. . .and DONT EVEN THINK. . .of taking something that belongs to someone else.
THIS LIGHT, THIS LOVE FOR ALL MANKIND. . . exposes our inward desire . . . .to want to make things right, we wish for others respect our boundaries, that perhaps do not even have gates or bars to keep people out.
If we could all live in the PARK, we would still have to have. . . .people next to us. . . .that we could trust.

In translating the Book of Zechariah the prophecy of Messiah as the TZEMACH, the BRANCH, is called the Greek word ANATOLAY . . .JESUS is the SUNRISE. . .that ENDS THE DARKNESS, for the Jews too.
Malachi in the Old Testament is looking forward to the SUNRISE . . .the branch, the son of Jessie, that ends the darkness for all mankind.
The digit….means a finger…you. . . .your finger….pushed against a screen, can tell all about You, your finances, it can even pay your taxes.

[Your Creator God has placed HIS NAME in the 4th Commandment. . .the Creator of the 6 day work and the 7th day rest. Any other day of “worship” being demanded by those who against Christ, are ANTICHRIST and wish to “CONTROL YOU.” . . .are wanting to control your LIFE. . . and you must decide WHO YOU WANT TO CONTROL YOUR LIFE….GOD or not God.

This THE PROPHET JESUS, do we ourselves can be guilty of crucifying HIM AGAIN by being disloyal to His Government? Who will we. . . bow down to?
What will You do with JESUS? The final decision is in your MIND and in your HAND, and GOD is about to DISPLAY HIS FINAL ACT, HIS PROOF, that ONLY THEY, God the FAther, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit in you and I can be taken to HEAVEN in a “CLOUD.” The devil cannot rise off this earth, he cannot sit on a cloud. He cannot “GO UP” to heaven, because the decree was made in Gods Throne Room, by the 7 eyed, 7 horned, Lamb of God, slain from before the World began.

The Book of Revelation ENDS THE LAST DAYS in the middle of the book. In Chapter 11, You have the story of the LAST DAYS….when this GREAT CONTROVERSY between GOD and not god……comes to END.
Some two witnesses must go to Jerusalem, and bring out the Ten Commandments written by God’s own FINGER. MANKIND MUST KNOW, before they go to HEAVEN, the “boundaries”. . . . the “suggestions”. . . .that GOD KNEW, we would be persecuted. . . . AND FOR OUR EFFORTS to love one another as ourselves, HE HAS PURCHASED OUR TICKET TO HEAVEN. . . .and then. . . .will you be happy to know. . . The President . . .THE KING. . . of THE UNIVERSE. . .can read your MIND and MOTIVES and that MAKES HIM KNOW YOU LIKE HE KNOWS THE BACK OF HIS HAND….and HE LOVES YOU UNCONDITIONALLY!
Why fight with God? He will win! He won’t let you down. He never has been your enemy. He may get you on a dark night, when you’re low, and when you are in “darkness”. . . . you may “REALLY WANT TO NOT BE KEPT IN DARKNESS” you may want TO SEE THE LIGHT. . .. in your BIBLE.

Being CHOSEN, to reflect the image of CHRIST, His love, kindness, humor, joy and peace, like the Balm of Gilead, was forced upon the slaves in America. Their songs, long for God to let that Chariot come and let me ride, come down Christ come and take me home . . . . it is as if they were wishing to be like Elijah, taken to HEAVEN, to get away from the fear, the cruel slave owners, or those who continue to look on the outward appearance instead of THE HEART.
” But that no man is justified by the lawin the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. Gal 3:11-12
The justified shall live by faith. Just as if I had not sinned….is what JUSTIFIED means. The law is “not faith.” But, the man that acts “in faith” that Our God understands the motivies, of our actions. . .is the BENEFIT of BEING judged by HIM, and Him alone.
There are times when a Jew was judged by “how” he kept the Sabbath. . .and the Pharisees tried to “not work” on Sabbath, they can even buy timers to turn the lights off and on. And this became a hard work for priests to judge. . .why a man would work on Sabbath.
Because God knows what lies ahead, He sees the future, He holds our prayers in His nail pierced hands, He feels our pain, our wish to be free from bias. Yet, he walked among those rejected by the Pharisees. . . . who had reached a goal of cleansing the evil, from the Temple. What was holy, had become unholy censorship . . . .and when the Romans came into take over the Government, the Jews were being treated like slaves.
Freedom. . . . your freedom, my freedom, was PURCHASED by GOD, sending His son, to die for our sins. . . .and the greatest “sin” is man’s inhumanity to man. This barrier Jesus came to take down. . .our preconceived ideas. And to love our neighbors as ourselves. Now there is a challenge! How to love our neighbor. . . . like Jesus loved the Samaritans, those the Jews were not to associate with.
Take the challenge. . . .of showing love, joy and peace to your neighbors.
The Compassion of Jesus, as He patiently waits and knocks on the door of Your Heart. Let Him in!

Jesus lived in a peasant’s home, and faithfully and cheerfully acted his part in bearing the burdens of the household. . . . Jesus carried into His labor cheerfulness and tact. It requires much patience and spirituality to bring Bible religion into the home life and into the workshop, to bear the strain of worldly business, and yet keep the eye single to the glory of God. This is where Christ was helper. He was never so full of worldly care as to have no no time or thought heavenly things. Often He expressed the gladness of His heart by singing psalms and heavenly songs. Often the dwellers in Nazareth heard his voice raised in praise and thanksgiving to God. He held communion with heaven in song; and as His companions complained of weariness from labor, they were cheered by the sweet melody from His lips. His praise seemed to banish the evil angels, and, like incense, fill the place with fragrance.
